Dr. Smith started out practicing with Prairie Dental Group just a few blocks down Princess Avenue before starting his own practice here at Princess Dental Center in 1989. An avid member of the Brandon business community he has sat on many boards and clubs throughout the years including Kinsmen, has coached youth baseball and hockey teams, and has been part of a curling team for twenty years. The relationships he has formed with his loyal patients and fellow businesspeople are one of the most important things to him about his practice. Dr. Smith also has a passion for new ideas and technology and goes to great lengths researching new products to always take his practice to that next level.

Heather’s gentle touch and friendly demeanor as well as her strong farming background have led her to build great relationships with patients over the years. Heather also makes time to promote dentistry and dental hygiene by attending conferences and workshops throughout the community.

Marcia brings fresh skill and knowledge of the dental hygiene profession to our office. She is also involved in the rodeo and farming community and started her career employed at a rural dental practice. Her dedication to health, fitness, and continual research into the new technologies within the field of dentistry has provided many benefits to our practice.

Jerilyn’s experience, people skills, empathy towards patients, and dedication to the field have made her a valuable member of our staff and helps make hesitant patients feel right at home. Her knowledge and research into the cutting-edge technology of tooth whitening makes up a part of her expertise. Do not hesitate to ask her any questions about our bleaching products.

With over 18 years in the dental field, Sharon brings talent, a quiet demeanor, and sense of humor to her chair-side manner, which creates a wonderful rapport with her patients. Sharon and Jerilyn grew up together, and their friendship creates a unique teamwork that enhances their skills as assistants..

Brooke is the newest addition toPrincess Dental. After receiving her dental assistant training at S.A.I.T., Alberta and working as an assistant in an Alberta dental office, she decided to return home to Manitoba. We are Lucky to have Brooke on board as she brings with her experience with digital radiography. Brooke makes every patient she sees feel very comfortable in the dental chair with her soft-mannered ways.

With many years in the dental industry, Karen’s experience speaks for itself. Her aim is to keep both the patients and the dental team satisfied. Karen is at the front desk, along with the administration staff, taking care of their customer service needs. Her philosophy is to maintain an understanding of the practice as a whole. “We are constantly molding our practice to make Princess Dental a more pleasant and efficient environment to all who come through our door”.

Judy brings to our office, 24 years of experience and knowledge from the pharmaceutical industry as a technician. This valuable skill, along with her caring way with people, are an asset to the front desk. Judy, as a dental patient of ours, was convinced to come out of a very short retirement from her previous job to join our staff.

Julie’s former training as a travel agent gave her years of customer service expertise. Her friendly and energetic personality gives her the ability to look at every situation in a positive light, and keeps a constant smile on her face.
